I first heard about iHerb when I stumble into a blog (which i forgot the link) and saw she posted about iHerb. I checked out the site and was pretty amazed at the variety makeup brands sold there such as ELF, Everyday Mineral, Physicians Formula and many more but I was still hoping for more brands in the future cause most of the brands aren't sold here in Malaysia.
Long story short, I wander around the site and picked some items;
Real Technique Core Collection
$18 // RM 65
I've always wanted a Real Technique brush because it is the most recommended brush from the beauty gurus. Even though they do sell those brushes in Malaysia, it is over-priced (for me). I saw they sell this set at Shins for RM150. So, when I found this brushes on iHerb and they sells it at RM65, I don't think twice.
Real Technique Blush Brush & Stippling Brush
Blush Brush: $9 // RM 33
Stippling Brush: $10 // RM36
Frankly said, I bought the blush brush because I think it looks cute and I don't think I'll be using this brush frequently. But I was wrong, this brush is so fluffy I can't stop using it (does it make any sense?). Most people said that this brush is too large for their face but it is totally perfect for me. no word can describe. And for the stippling brush, I need it to apply my foundation and I've been loving it. These two brushes are by far my most favorite brush.
Queen Helene Mint Julepe & Mud Pack Masque
$3.90 // RM 14
I've read so many positive comments about these two products from Queen Helene. But they don't have it in Malaysia. So when I saw these two on iHerb for RM15 (227g) each I just grab it. I'll maybe (or maybe not) make a review about these two but heres a quick review: the mint julep masque smells like Lush Mask of Magnamity (my sister used to have it)
ELF High Definition Powder (Sheer)
$6 // RM 22
These products claims to mask fine lines etc but it did nothing to my face else than as a setting powder. I'm a bit disappointed but I still use it as daily setting powder. Definitely not going to buy this again.
Thats pretty much everything I bought on iHerb. I actually bought an ELF eyelid primer but it wasn't it the box when it arrived. I assumed that someone stole it or maybe it fell somewhere while trying to get here. It was only for $2 so I wasn't really sad (But still sad). I already contacted iHerb and now waiting for a reply.
So, the total of my (supposed to be) 7 items including DHL delivery is $62.79 but I entered the code I got from the forgotten blog and 10% off every first purchase, my grand total is $50.65. Now you tell me how is that not cool? My advice to anyone who is reading this right now, use my code. the end.
What i love about iHerb;
- Fast delivery (using DHL). My parcel arrived 4 days after I placed my order.
- Affordable
- Money converter. They convert USD to RM on every products detail. So, for the money-converter freaks like me, you don't have to worry to calculate your items in RM.
- Real Technique (the main reason)
What i dislike about iHerb;
- Lack of known brands.
- Wheres my eyelid primer?
